Rebel is in. We'll be there.
This has been a very well run regatta the last 4 years, getting plenty of races in each day. I believe we got 12 races in 2.5 days a couple of years ago. I highly recommend attending this event.
This is also the weekend with the fireworks festival down in Sarnia Bay. Good fire works show.

Hunting Party #448 has registered for the Sarnia One design regatta that is coming up shortly.
It is an inexpensive regatta that should be of interest to the michigan boats. No charge for slips or trailer storage. Cheap entry fee $50 bucks. Good food.
Lots of racing. We have had nothing less than 10 races in the past few years.
There is even lots of fireworks that weekend with the two holidays being on the weekend. You can still be back home for the 4th.
Hope to see you here.

It is a Great Race. We have done it the last 5 years. There is not the token 30-45 min break in between races like the NOODs. They fire off another race right away. Unfortunately, since it is on the 4th weekend this year, we can not attend. We all have jobs that require us to work every holiday. Wish we could be there.

Great day of racing!!!!! Got in 6 very good races today. Winds were 10 - 15 knots out of the SW in flat water. Doesn't get any better than that!!!7 boats showed up for the event: Frequent Flyer, Rebel, Relentless, Hunting Party, White Trash, PF Flyer, and Splash Dance. RC did an excellent job, no waiting at all in between races. Spike is winning, Rebel in second, and Relentless in third, after Day 1. Winds are to be a little lighter tomorrow. Will post final results tomorrow. Too Bad more out of town boats didn't show up, you are missing another great Canadian Regatta in Sarnia.

We got another three races in on Sunday on beautiful southern Lake Huron. Perfect Weather, 10 -15 knots out of the SW again!!! Crystal clear bue skies and equally clear blue water. Congrats to Spike Boston and the Frequent Flyer Crew (Tom Vigrass and family) on a stellar regatta.
Here are the results:

I hope others will finally realize what a great venue and great regatta they are missing, and will get some more out of town boats for 2011.
